A Little Leather Goes A Long Way

I’ve been trying to make leather pants work for years. Literally, for years. While I’m getting closer to accepting the fact that maybe they’re just not for me, I still need to get my fix somehow. Enter: the leather accent.

From the moment I laid eyes on this Ellery button down, I’ve been a woman obsessed (and my browser history proves it.)

The art of the accent has hit me with a bit of a learning curve, though. For a while I was throwing a whole lot of leather into just about every single outfit I donned. Not cute. I may or may not have looked like I was trying to ease my way into the matrix. I still occasionally have to fight the urge to overdo it, but I’m getting there. Say it with me; less is more.
