Okay, I’m trying not to harp on about this, as some people have told me to get over the fact that my bag was stolen, but wouldn’t you be upset if you lost this gorgeous Ferragamo?? The striped Spring 2016 style is surprisingly easy to incorporate into your wardrobe, whether you’re pairing it with red fur like I did or simply basic black. Plus, it was taken from an invite-only presentation, rather than a public event, which just makes you wonder all the more who took it…anyway, I intend to pick up another Ferragamo, and in the meantime, there are plenty of other bags to get me through the season. I shared some of the best in my Vogue Mini column (have you downloaded the app yet?). Take a look at my favorites below!
Anya Hindmarch Stripes Mini Backpack: Mini backpacks like this red and white woven Anya Hindmarch are a huge trend for 2016. To stand out, carry yours in front of your shoulders. At Anya Hindmarch for $2,950.
Fendi Sequin Paillettes Baguette Shoulder Bag: I love wearing multiple colors at once. While all-black-everything is chic, no doubt, a little rainbow action is more uplifting, especially when it’s Fendi Resort 2016. At Bergdorf Goodman for $2,600.
Fendi 3Jours Mini Painted-Edges Leather Satchel Bag: You can probably tell by now that my theme for NYFW was color. I’ve been wearing black, white, and cream all winter long, so it was time for some fun. Even this Fendi 3Jours has multi-hued piping! At Bergdorf Goodman for $2,450.
Saint Laurent Sac Université Medium Camouflage-Print Suede Shoulder Bag: Like I said: I’m sick of black and white. But you need neutrals, so to ensure I have a go-to for any outfit, I’ve got Saint Laurent’s camo suede. I also have a tip to go along with it: If your suede bag gets dirty, use a nude or like-colored pencil eraser to remove the stain. On NET-A-PORTER for $1,990.
This Valentino fringe jacket wasn’t nearly warm enough, but it was worth enduring the chill! Underneath I paired matching Jason Wu prints with Diane bag and shirt.
Why carry two vintage Chanel minis from What Goes Around Comes Around when you can carry two?
Another multi-striped bag, albeit a subtler take on the trend. I just love Gianfranco Lotti for its quiet luxury.
Wonder Woman’s cape has nothing on my butterfly-accented Valentino!
