Crystals are making their way into beauty products

The idea of crystals in beauty products might sound a little woo-woo, but Naomi Campbell, Bella Hadid, and Miranda Kerr are just a few of the stunning women who swear by them…who needs more proof than that? The thought behind their efficacy is that crystals can help heal both inside and out (we all know what stress can do to skin…) and specifically they can work to brighten and tighten skin. This is the next level trend from the now omnipresent gemstone face rollers you’re likely seeing everywhere. Though jade remains the most popular there are number of other rollers like rose or clear quartz that work wonders when used in tandem with serum/moisturizer (in particularly I’ve found it helps de-bloat my face). For those looking to take it a step further, here are three standout brands infusing their beauty products with crystals.

First up, Valeur Absolue ($95). The stunning line consists of semi-precious stone-infused fragrance elixirs that range from the woodsy to the floral. I’m a Tom Ford White Suede girl through and through, but I can still appreciate when other brands get it right, and this brand has gotten it right.

Pacifica is one of my favorite budget beauty lines and they’re ahead of the game with their extensive crystal-infused collection. They’ve got everything from lip balm and foundation, to body shimmer and charcoal face masks.
Herbivore Botanicals is a sophisticated range of non-toxic products (started in a kitchen!) with a dedicated amethyst and emerald collection. They also sell beautiful crystals and tarot cards as well as aromatherapy products.
