Odds are if you’re using a microneedle roller it’s Glopro. Within the first 12 minutes of appearing on HSN $400,000 worth of the devices were sold. A few months later HSN sold $4.4 million worth and the company hit nearly $30 million in sales last year alone; revenues by end of 2017 are expected to be around $60 million (they’re also sold online and at places like Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus). Click here to checkout the uber popular device ($199). While you can use any products with the microneedling tool the brand has now launched 10 products specifically to be used with it as well as a Power Patch Collection (targeted masks for face and body that are soaked in active ingredients…they’re launching knee masks! Apparently we have to worry about knee wrinkles!?).
I’m not surprised the brand is a hit. Jamie O’Banion, the cofounder and chief executive officer of Beauty Bioscience (the parent company of Glopro) is STUNNING. Her skin is insane. I can’t think of a better person to sell a skincare product. That’s her in the image above – she really looks like this in person. The gorgeous rose gold packaging and their long list of clinicals to prove product efficacy don’t hurt either.
The new range is divided into five categories: Cleanse, Treat, Hydrate, Protect, and Enhance and is priced at $35 for a cleanser, $75 to $95 for serums, and $150 for their three-step retinol-based The Reversal treatment. New products are launching later this year (including those aforementioned knee masks!).
