GIFT GUIDE: WHAT TO GET FOR YOUR FREQUENT FLYER FRIENDS

I fly back and forth between Tel Aviv and New York every few weeks so I’m the first to say that keeping skin glowing requires being properly equipped – and drinking plenty of water. If not, at least for me, I land swollen, bloated, and with discolored skin (see here for pre, during, and post flight beauty tips). On the flip side anyone who travels knows the value of mini size anything and there’s no better time to shop for those than holiday. There are so many value sets!

Philosophy Gift Sets, prices vary

Philosophy is a go-to every year. They have too many ready-to-gift options to count including bath and body, fragrance, and skincare and many come in travel sizes like the above stocking stuffer ($8).

reVive Light Therapy dpl Foot Pain Relief Slippers, $199
These medical-grade slippers use infrared and red light to sooth any travel (or high heel) related food pain.

Sephora Favorites Beauty Sleep, $30

If you’re shopping for someone who isn’t married to their nighttime skincare routine, this set is an amazing value ($92 value) that includes a complete nighttime regimen.

Yes To Masks, prices vary
A post-flight mask is always a great idea…

Essie Holiday Minis Kit, $12.99
This set offers a classic red, a perfect-for- winter amethyst, a holiday-ready shimmery medium brown, and a mint for when you’re going for something softer and the mini size makes them perfect for travel. Don’t forget to add these Instant Nail Polish Remover Wipes from Sephora ($8)!

Living Proof Perfect hair Day, $29

I don’t know anyone who has tried this brand and doesn’t love it. It seems to work on all hair types and moisturizes without weighing down your hair. This set includes travel size shampoo, conditioner, and a styling treatment.

Laura Mercier Little Indulgences Hand & Body Crème Collection, $34

This set includes four travel size hand and body cremes.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads, $30

I love these pads post workout (I cleanse my skin before I use them), but they’re also great for travel since they have lactic and glycolic acids to exfoliate skin without the messy residue of a scrub (exfoliating post flight, at least for me, is very necessary!).

Milk Makeup Micellar Water Makeup Remover Wipes Mini, $14

I’d pair the above FAB pads with these Milk ones for a DIY gift set. These individually wrapped makeup remover wipes are super convenient for short trips.

Saje Pocket Farmacy, $59.95

This is the perfect find for someone who travels a lot for work. The set includes five of Saje’s most popular essential oil roll-ons.

The Art of Shaving Lavender Carry-On Shaving Kit, $60

If you’re shopping for any men, they can use most of the above though you’ll want to remember that their skin is much thicker, oilier, and warmer (because men have more blood vessels) so it’s important that you buy men products that absorb more readily (Bulldog makes some affordable ones). If the guy you’re shopping for is lazy about his skincare – and most are, men’s adult skin is also less prone to breakouts – the above travel kit from The Art of Shaving is the perfect buy. It’s not only an essential, but smells so good!! My husband used the shaving cream and the whole bathroom smelled amazing when I walked in afterwards!
