Sergio Rossi Espadrille Boots… Snob or Slob?

sergiorossi_espadrille_bootie.jpg

Espadrilles are key for summer, boots are key for winter, but where does an espadrille boot fit in?  Perhaps cool summer nights in LA– the land of casual chic but I’m just not feeling these.  I was starting to tire of the open toe bootie anyway and these confirmed my feelings.  I would have liked them slightly better with a wooden or leather platform wedge, what about you?  Snob or Slob?

Slob. These are stupid. Espadrilles and boots are not made to go together. I can’t wear these on a hot summer day and the heel would not work with anything but a summer outfit. Sorry, I find this to be pointless.

I’d have to say slob. I’ve never actually been a fan of the open-toe bootie, but these are…well…awful (IMHO, of course).

    Agreed!

Pointless and stupid are accurate descriptions

Neither! Just plain ridiculous, I’m sorry to say

Complete train wreck. Open toe booties are bad enough, but slapped onto an espadrille?

Slob. Put them in a time machine and send them back to the 70’s where someone might actually wear them.
