I love carbs – like I can eat a whole loaf of bread and not feel sick love carbs. I know I’m not alone in my addiction. Some days I’m good about finding alternatives, some days I’m not. It does help to have recipes for great, healthy swaps on hand and I’ve been inspired by a recent trip to a raw-food cafe. Above is cauliflower rice sushi, a sunflower seed pizza (can also be made with cauliflower!) and a date-nut-spirulina ball. The problem with going to raw-food cafes is that they’re usually expensive even though the raw ingredients aren’t. I paid about $40 for the lunch above. With that in mind I’m now making my own cauliflower rice and pizza (I usually buy the pizza crust and load it with fresh veggies and Kite Hill cheese..Kite Hill is AMAZING).
