The Dr. Gross line has become my favorite skincare range. I can dependent on all the products to not only work great, but feel great and they never irritate my skin. I’ve also seen Dr. Gross in person and he couldn’t be more knowledgeable and professional (he’s the reason that I never went on Accutane!). The brand recently launched a great tinted moisturizer called Instant Radiance Sun Defense Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 ($42). The only drawback is that it’s only available in two shades, but I have very pale skin and the light one naturally blended in and despite having SPF 40 the formulation is very lightweight.
Another great option is Ellis Faas Skin Veil Foundation Pen ($65). It has a gorgeous dewy finish! It says “foundation” in the name but in my opinion it’s way more of a tinted moisturizer – this isn’t something that will work to hide blemishes, but rather it will give skin a beautiful, sun-kissed glow. It comes in 8 shades.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($28) is another good option. It comes in 5 shades and like Dr. Gross, everything FAB makes in my experience works great even on very sensitive skin.
Lastly Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation ($34) is best if you’re looking for more opaque coverage and a perfect color match. There are 40-shades! You’ll need to layer it over an SPF/moisturizer, however (this is a true-to-its name foundation).
