Remember when trends lasted an entire decade? In the 70s- it was bellbottoms and platforms. In the 80s- leggings ruled with pointy (painful) pumps and no one would be caught dead in anything flared. In the 90s- flares and leggings met somewhere in the middle and the stretchy boot cut pant was born. But the internet happened in the 2000’s– blogs and websites where consumption of information was fast and furious. And trends came and went accordingly. Which is why I am of the believe to store your favorite trendy things- because it will most definitely come back, faster than you would expect it to! Case in point, just when I thought the rainbow trend was going away, it came back just as quickly. I for one couldn’t be happier! For me, nothing feels more young, fresh and fun than a colorfully striped bag or boldly striped shoe, luckily there are plenty to choose from! So indulge away if you’re a rainbow loving snob like me- this is one trend worthy of investment!
