What a difference a great outfit can make, and that holds true for the gym as well. Actually, in my experience, it holds true for the gym more than almost any other place (those damn, unflattering fluorescent lights!!). I am OBSESSED with Koral, and I can't imagine that you won't be too when you check out their website. I would literally wear everything. Better yet, their pieces are so well-designed that you can get away with wearing them by day even if you're not heading to the gym. I've actually had men ask me about clothes from the brand (the pants on the top left get the most compliments from my experience...seriously, I have yet to wear them without at least one person commenting or asking me where I bought them).

I ended the most stressful New York Fashion Week (having my bag stolen and being stranded without ID and money accounted for most of the stress!) on a high note, literally. With the high-pitched sound of a pinging bell, to be exact. And another. With each chilling ping, I was blissfully liberated from the tribulations of the week and pulled further into Marc Jacobs’ beautifully haunting, Tim Burton-esque world, with odes to Beetlejuice and Corpse Bride alike. Marc usually puts on a grand show: One season it was life-sized pink Barbie houses, another warranted a world premiere at the famed Ziegfeld Theater. Marc is, if nothing else, the greatest showman on earth. But he is much, much more, like one of the most creative and talented designers on the planet.

Between the freezing cold temps and my bag being stolen, it’s been one of the more difficult NYFWs to get through. That said, I’ve been loving so many of the shows I’ve been to, and Marc Jacob’s is guaranteed to be one of the best. If you’re not huffing it to the Park Avenue Armory today, you may just be better off for it because he’s bringing the catwalk straight to your computer. Tune in above from the comfort of your warm home for the 5:45 pm EST preshow, then get ready for the main event at 6 pm!

When a relatively new creative director has very large, very legendary shoes to fill, it usually takes them a while to find their groove. But seeing that Peter Copping was handpicked by the late, wonderful Oscar de la Renta himself as the heir apparent to the throne, it’s not all that much of a surprise that he stepped into them seemingly effortlessly. For his third collection for the famed fashion house, Copping selected a new location: the Prince George Ballroom. He’s creating his own stories, and this season, he’s also reference 1973’s famed Battle of Versailles. Peter is equally dedicated to paying homage to the original designer’s core vision, and Oscar's personal touches were everywhere, in the decadent crystal-embroidery embellishments, sparkling sequin bodices, splashes of opulent floral patterns, and delicate A-line lace-guipere skirts, to name a few.

There may, this season, have been less excitement and buzz around NYFW in light of the whole Mercedes Benz debacle and so many designers opting instead to show "in season" (the frigid temperatures didn't help either...), but there was still plenty to love in terms of beauty inspiration. While the bulk of the looks that received the most online buzz were the crazier ones - i.e. glitter scattered all over the models' faces at Opening Ceremony - the more interesting ones were those that were wearable, but still innovative.
