I’ve been quarantined in my apartment for a few weeks now and while it’s tough, I’m trying to see the silver lining. One of the ways I’ve been keeping from going stir-crazy is by doing treatments and using products I otherwise don’t have the time for. From face peels, to body treatments, to hair treatments – here’s a look at some products you might want to pamper yourself with in these tough times (and I just want to add that I fully realize how I am beyond lucky that the worst thing I am currently dealing with is being unable to leave my apartment).
Once a week, before washing your hair, lather Bumble and bumble Color Gloss all over to boost shine and color if you have color treated hair. Make sure to use the gloves! I forget about them the first time. If you don’t use them your hands will be stained. After lathering, leave on for 20 minutes and then just wash your hair as you normally would.
I recently wrote about the benefits of Gua Sha – now is the perfect time to get in the daily routine of using this affordable face tool.
Dry brushing will now be more important than ever to boost circulation.
In keeping with boosting circulation, the Theragun is something you might now think about investing in. It’s great not only for circulation, but to help with muscle recovery and to treat and prevent aches, pains, and soreness.
The Like A Virgin Hair Masque works to help dry hair, damaged hair. Just shampoo your hair as normal. Then evenly distribute a generous amount of product to your towel dried hair. Leave for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse with warm water. For super damaged hair or for even better results, keep the masque in overnight and wash out in the morning.
Now is also a great time for face masks and home peels. There are obviously countless options but I’m obsessed with literally everything Dr. Gross has. You will notice a difference immediately after one treatment. I’ve also been applying his tanning wipes before bed so I feel better about my pale complexion when I wake up.
