Get Real with Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner

Tina Benefit Push Up Liner

Took all of 10 seconds to apply my favorite cat eye. Easiest eyeliner applicator ever!

Do you remember the first experience you had with eyeliner? I do! It was an encounter with a drug store liner stolen from my 7th grade bestie’s older sister’s make up drawer. We drew raccoon-like circles around our eyes and thought ourselves the most glamorous girls alive. Having almond-shaped, Asian eyes with puny lashes, eyeliner instantly became my obsession. Waterproof, smudge-proof, liquid, gel, powder, kohl, felt tip – you name it, I’ve used it. During my years on TV in Asia I became an expert eyeliner applicator and was known to apply liner in the back of moving cars without stabbing myself in the eye (do not try this at home!).

My latest discovery is courtesy of Benefit cosmetics – They’re Real! push-up liner, a gel based liner that has a unique applicator tip that hugs your lashes on application, and allows for a precise line (a huge plus if you are a lash extension or falsies addict). The innovative “AccuFlex” rubber tip took getting used to at first, but after a few tries I am officially addicted. The slant in the tip also makes it so easy to do a perfect cat-eye! You will love this whether you prefer a subtle thin line at lash-base or full on drama!

Quite well! Just remember to turn and push up the gel liner so it doesn’t dry out. 10 seconds per eye, easiest thing, ever! xx Tina

It’s pretty long lasting, I was poolside and sweating but didn’t affect it. xx Tina

How easily does it wash off? I have lash extensions so I can’t use oil based liners nor oil based eye makeup remover… I’m hoping this is a good product for me – I was a fan of the They’re Real mascara when I wore mascara.

    I will absolutely try this.

If you come across an “off-black” liquid eyeliner, love to hear about it. I’m searching for an espresso-bean brown/black. I work for a conservative office and am looking for something a little less stark than a true black.
