We’re never surprised to see fur grace the Fall runways, but the number of fur bags this season is off the charts. From Donna Karan’s shaggy style (her 30th anniversary collection was all about movement) to DVF’s trim shoulder bags, black seemed to be the shade of choice, with Vera Wang also throwing her noir beaver shopping bag into the ring. The most vibrant take was Tory Burch’s brocade muffler/messenger bag hybrid – what I wouldn’t do to have that for the storm today! We could wait until these collections hit the stores later this year, but who has the patience? Get in on the trend early with these furry favorites…

J. Mendel Chevron Fur Minaudière:icon I wasn’t able to make it to J. Mendel’s show today thanks to this terrible Snowpocalypse, so I might just have to treat myself to this precious sky blue minaudière. At Barneys New York for $2,980.

Marni Beaver Tote:icon Take advantage of last fall’s offerings at a discount. This classic black and beaver tote will be just as chic next autumn as it is today. On Farfetch for $942 (from $1,570).

Fendi Demi-Jour Bag:icon This Spring 2014 navy and purple tuft just goes to show that Fendi is a fan of fur all year-round (monster charms, anyone?). Pre-order at Barneys New York for $2,800.
