Remember back in 2016 when Millennial Pink was all the rage? It seems that the generational color wheel has moved onto bolder and brighter things. The latest hue to covet?! GEN Z YELLOW. As ridiculous as it sounds, Gen Z yellow is actually a thing and has been seen everywhere on everyone in 2018. And, there is nothing mellow about it. Instagram, street style, runways, phone cases, Balenciaga Crocs, you name it. Maybe it first came around with Beyonce’s Lemonade debut? (so sorry Coldplay!) We can now bet on seeing a few models & celebs rocking yellow attire at any outing. Before this year, I always felt like everyone agreed that yellow isn’t the first color we would run to when choosing an ensemble, but now my eye has adjusted and I am committed to the yellow movement and all the fun ways to play with it!
