It’s still technically spring, right? Someone remind whoever it is that’s in charge of this Texas sun. The heat might on, but I’m not ready to let go of my layers. As I suffered through a 90-degree day in a denim jacket that was, frankly, far too thick for mid-May I decided that I needed to find a better way to pile on the style. Preferably one that doesn’t involve risking heat stroke.
After an exhaustive search, and a few real-world heat tests, I’m happy to report that summer layers (minus the sweat) are totally achievable. And trust me, if it can stand up to the Texas heat, it can stand up to just about anything.
