Louboutin Dos and Don’t

I am not so blindly obsessed with Louboutin shoes that I can’t discern atrocities from beauties!  There are a couple of pairs that I’m dying for right now (above) and a couple that I think everyone should stay away from.  From above left: The platform bootie is a must have staple ($995), I tried these on and they are fairly comfortable (as comfy as a pair of 5 inch platforms can be!)– they will also transition through resort/spring/summer which is a definite plus!  I am insane about the over the knee leather boots as well.  When you put them on they’re like leather leggings!  You almost don’t need to wear pants but they’re not actually pants so to keep you bum warm– a skirt, a pair of shorts or skinny jeans are highly recommended.

Now for the don’ts– I love an espadrille as much as anyone but why the chain and patent leather(below left)?  Espadrilles are casual and fun, trying to make them edgy just makes them look stupid, out of place and trying too hard.   What do you think?

I agree about the espadrilles. In fact, I have a rule that says never to buy espadrilles with wedges that have more than one color. haha
