Every summer, I go through the same obsession: wicker everything! If I could successfully wear a wicker dress without scratching or cutting myself, I would (note to designers). Until then, I’ll get my fix with one of my favorite woven bags.
Last weekend, I attended the annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic with Veuve Clicquot, and you can trust I took full advantage of the fact I could indulge in my wicker-ness (sorry, I couldn’t resist). I wore an Oscar de la Renta gingham-checked crop top with a coordinating sweater, Prada culottes, and Céline wooden-soled platforms. Janessa Leoné provided the perfect topper to my outfit. But the star of my show was Mark Cross’ Manray wicker bag (as you might recall, I wrote about it a few years back), a basket-inspired classic that feels fresh year in and year out. On MATCHESFASHION.com for $1,854.
