MD Lash Factor: Grow lashes and fight autism!

mdlashfactor.jpgI started a new lash conditioner, Md Lash Factor, recently and am so impressed with it that I am forgoing the usual 6-9 week trial period before posting a review.  A friend of mine had been raving about a Taiwanese doctor (Dr. Susan Lin– Ob/Gyn) who had formulated an eyelash conditioner that made her lashes so long they were touching her glasses, her brows etc etc (ok, show off!).  I decided to try it for myself and after 3 weeks, can attest that it’s true, it works!  I stopped using Latisse for about 13 days and was surprised how quickly my lashes returned to its puny size (back in early July, though I didn’t post its review until August when I returned from vacation) and started MD Lash Factor while on vacation in Malibu.  Within the first couple of weeks I noticed that my lashes seemed fuller at the roots and the outer corner lashes were longer (my lashes never grow evenly).  You must try this one, it’s one of the best I’ve used in the market and I plan to stick with it for a while!  (Note: Dr. Lin is a mother of Peter and Katherine. Peter is a 10

year old boy with autism. 5% of net profit from the lash conditioner

product will be dedicated to benefit autism initiatives.)

MD Lash Factor Review and Rating from scale of 1-4, 4 being best.

Effectiveness: 4– Lashes were noticeably fuller after the first week.  Currently at 3 weeks, the outer lashes seem to have grown longer.

Stinging: 4– This does not sting at all!  Sensitive eyes and contact lens users can proceed without fear!
Side Effects: 4– NONE!
Applicator: 4- One of the best applicators in the lash conditioner market, it’s not too thin nor too thick, like Goldilocks, I’ve finally found an applicator that is perfect and am able to apply it to the lashline without any product getting into my eyes!

Tina, do you know if this can change eye color? I have really wanted to try latisse but I have green eyes and don’t want to change the color. I will definitely try this if there are no side effects.

    Hi all,

sorry was in DC all week (the stories were pre scheduled!)

I don’t know why ob/gyn formulated this but guessing she was trying to find a product to also aid in her cause for autism research.

Have not heard of this product darkening iris!

And yes, will take photos at 12 weeks mark 😉

My friend bought a couple when she was in the States and she sold me one, she said her friends all have thicker lashes because of this product. Maybe, I am an exception. I really have short lashes and when I used the product my eyelid kinda got swollen and it’s a bit uncomfortable.

Again, I have heard so much about this product and it actually works for some people and the donation to autism is really cool. Have a cousin who is autistic.

I tried MD lash from my dermatologist and was thrilled as I was a cancer survivor and really needed lash help. Then I ran out and MD was not permitted to use the original formula (Botox was going to sue) and the new formula is not effective at all. I feel it is horrible that they continue to advert. that it is the same and it is not. I would have donated a great deal to the autistic cause, but not feel we are being misinformed. SHAME

Has anyone else tried the new formula? Does it work?

I am also a cancer survivor and lost lashes then, but always had stubby little lashes. No mascara helped and false lashes just pulled mine out.

I used the “new formulation” and it worked amazingly well. I noticed more lashes growing in first when the lash line started looking fuller at the end of week 2. Then in week 3, I could tell my lashes were getting longer. I have blond tips on my lashes and with mascara they were OBVIOUSLY longer. Everything continued to grow and fill in until about week 6-7 and have held steady there. Even my boyfriend and workmates noticed.

I’ve used this nightly along the top lash line for almost 3 months now. Nothing bad about it and I’ve already decided to give this to my sisters for Christmas.

This product is amazing. My eyelashes are so much longer and thicker, it is actually noticable to friends and family.

Yes I think this product has made my hazel eyes darker. It has made my eyelashes thicker and longer.

A friend of mine gave me what was left in her bottle. She said she used it enough to have to actually trim her eyelashes.

I love this stuff! I saw results after only about a week. I will buy more when I run out of what I have.

I had read that it does not make your iris turn dark. Has anyone experienced noticeable eye color change?

I love this product. My lashes are long and full and only after month-I stopped for a while and they went back to normal. Now, I am using it again–and the same growth happened and really fast. Now I use it almost every night.

Here’s what I like-I don’t need mascara. And no matter what sport I do- my eyes don’t smudge- and I have a natural healthy look- and am confident in and out of the water!

This product was created by a doctor, and it’s safe- no bad reaction, no dark iris (don’t worry about that with this product) just lashes (and brows too!)I’ve always liked that healthy and natural look- and this is the best way to get it. When I add a little mascara –it’s all very glam!
