Last week I posted a teaser for the new NARS concealer, and now my review is in! Throughout the year, I switch off between concealers depending on the weather and the appearance of my skin. For dry winter months, I find that the ones with creamier consistencies work the best. But they’re too heavy for the sweltering summer months, so I transition to a lighter concealer then. The problem is that they just don’t leave you with the same soft glow. Enter NARS radiant creamy concealer in its slick, sexy tube. Using the sponge applicator (but not on delicate under eye skin – pat only there), you can apply this so that it blends right in with your skin, drying to a shimmering matte finish. You get the glow without the grease! The product offers light to medium coverage that won’t crease throughout the day and that you can apply more makeup on top of. The formula doesn’t immediately set, a feature Francois strived to achieve so that you could start off with a thin layer and build until you reach the perfect effect. So if you have oily skin year round, this is just the trick to have up your sleeve (or hiding in your makeup bag!). Available at NARS for $28.
