Olivia Palermo at Ports 1961 Fall 2010 in Be&D Genesis

Olivia Palermo sat front row at the Ports 1961 Fall 2010 show sporting a cream croc-embossed Be&D Genesis Bag (part of their S/S 2010 collection). Love this bag. It comes in a wide variety of prints and materials and is the perfect size bag to carry during a busy Fashion Week day. I’m not sure exactly what Olivia was thinking mixing and matching all of the different colors, textures, prints, and fabrics she has going on there, but lucky for her when you’re as gorgeous and as slender as she is, even when you’re wearing somewhat of a slob of an outfit you still look beautiful! I also really like the Genesis color she opted for. I have a feeling the Genesis is going to become a staple similar to the Givenchy Nightingale, especially the embossed croc for a frugal option.

What do you think about the Be&D Genesis?

This looks like an almost exact replica of a YSL flap shoulder bag from last year.

The shape, the flap and straps and all are reminiscent of Miu Miu ‘s vitello too ..

I have seen this bag on different celebrities on different sites. The bag does not hang right. Look at it closely. For me, I would feel like my stuff was about fall out of the bag.
