Pauric Sweeney Pocket Clutch Shoulder Bag

I found another bag patient that needs operating on, stat.  Honestly, Pauric Sweeney Pocket Clutch is not so bad as it is random.  As in, oh this is too boring, let’s just throw a clutch on it and call it a pocket.  In lizard no less, so we can charge more for this otherwise basic leather bag that one can purchase for $50 at Banana Republic.  Seriously, most designers carefully think through the placement of pockets– like, does it go with the landscape of the actual bag?  Is it a stylish addition to the bag and enhance its overall appeal?  Lastly, is it functional?  Clearly none of these questions were in the minds of the designers who created this bag.  It’s almost as if they stuck last season’s clutch on this season’s bag so it doesn’t go to waste.  I’d recommend a minor in-patient procedure for this one, add snaps to the clutch so you can remove it and use it as an actual clutch and voila, two bags for one.

Has anybody contacted Derek Lam to see if he’s okay? It appears that someone broke into his design office.

Hi Tina, Good you have got your sense of humour intact. I think you need pills against seasickness to carry this bag.

It looks like a Chanel 2.55 Reissue bag and some random Celine or Chloe bag had an ugly, lopsided child.

My favorite part is the little whatsit hanging out of the top. It seems like this bag just woke up 15 minutes before the picture was taken–and threw on whatever it could find.
