I had no idea what Sea Buckthorn was until this cream was sent to me for review. Apparently it is a shrub (not unlike our Aloe plant) that produces oils and waters that have healing properties– it is commonly used in Asia for juices and also produces juicy ripe berries. Sound appetizing yet? Like aloe, it is also used to soothe sunburns and sun damaged skin which happens often, by accident, when you live in Texas. It seems no matter how much sunscreen I slather on my boy’s tender’s skin, he gets some sort of burn each summer. SIBU body cream is made of 100% all-natural ingredients (including Sea Buckthorn oil and pulp) so it’s safe for the tots, too.
