Snob of the Week: Jennifer Lopez

jlosnob.jpgJennifer Lopez, mother of six month old twins, has her perfect figure back (aptly shown off in skin tight Dolce & Gabbana dress in Milan last week). I’ve never been a fan but spotted her in New York at the ODLR show and have to say she is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen (photos do not do her justice)! The only thing that ruined it for me was her smacking on a piece of gum throughout the show.

But Kelly is her #1 fan and asked for a photo, which J.Lo obliged with a sweet smile. The minute paparazzi swarmed her, however, she got this faraway look in her eyes and veiled all expression on her face. How did she do that? She is such a pro! I tried to do the same in the mirror and just looked cross eyed and silly.

Anyhoo, she is our Snob of the Week because anyone who can rock that dress after giving birth to TWINS just months earlier, deserves a medal. Six months after giving birth to my son I was still sitting around the house eating Kit Kats and watching subtitled Korean soap operas (insanely addictive!)  Okay, truth be known, I nursed my son for 12 months and didn’t really leave the house at all that year except to buy more chocolates 🙂

Jump to see photo of Kelly and J.Lo!!!

I took this photo of Kelly and J.Lo backstage at Oscar de la Renta. Notice how J. Lo is relaxed here. Now the next photo is when photographers swarmed her just a minute later (and shoved me rudely out of the way– one shouted “I’m not a fan, need a photo for so and so magazine”– so rude!).  But see how her face totally changes? I am so impressed because I only have one smile and have no idea how these actresses can make a million different faces!

So jealous she does look Aaaamazing so soon after twins! I love that you tried to practice your pap pose in the mirror…I think all of us have done this at somepoint!=) I too can only really smile when I try to pout and pose I just laugh.

Great pic Kelly…I never feel I can approach these people if I see them, as I feel sorry for them being pestered but they can be quite obliging!!

OMG Tina~~~LMAO–lol—I agree with Lottie, I think everyone has done the face thing in the mirror, You crack me up.

I’ve never been a fan either, but I must say she looks pretty amazing, even more now since she’s had her twins…

Some women just get more beautiful after having babies, I dunno what it is, they just seem to glow more, for example, Cindy Crawford, I dunno why, but I was never a fan, always thought she was beautiful but was never a fan, but after she had her two kids, I loved her, and thought she became even more beautiful if that’s even possible..(A bit of useless info for you all!!)

You know, I don’t like chocolates but when I was nursing, I craved it! My son loves chocolate, probably my fault and yes, he loves chocolate milk, too!

Whoa I’ve never seen her not have that far-away look before, and she looks soo gorgeous! She makes the nude lip look soo sooo hot.

Oh, I share birthdays with her! I love telling everyone that. =P

I have figured out the faraway look, it allows her not to look at any photographer directly but for all to have a good shot.

I have so many photos at events where I’m looking at one photographer and my friend is looking at another and we can’t find one where we’re both looking in same direction. LOL

Note to self, must teach self and all friends to have faraway look for photos.

I can’t believe Tina put this picture up! I look like a total dork because I am so star struck! To further my dorkiness though, I immediately printed this picture out and have it proudly displayed in the house! You can laugh at me, everyone does over my J Lo obsession =)
