Long gone are the days when I didn’t think twice about the bag I was bringing to the beach. Sometimes I miss being able to dig any random cloth tote (usually free, and most definitely hideous) out of the bottom of my closet, filling it with tanning oil and a single towel and hitting the beach. In recent years my beach style has become way more refined, but I can still usually only be counted on to bring a single towel – though sunscreen has definitely replaced the tanning oil.
While looking chic is now a must, so is limiting the damage to bags that, quite frankly, I can’t afford to replace (both financially and emotionally). I just want to wear a cute outfit and not have to worry about getting my bag professionally cleaned in order to suck out all of the sand. Is that too much to ask? Not with these pieces.
