Judging by the ice and slush coating the streets, I think it’s safe to say we’re not in Dallas anymore. Some may say these freezing NYC temps make dressing for Fashion Week difficult, but I prefer to think of it as a challenge (mostly because that allows me feel better about the fact that it’s freezing!). A few weeks ago, I wore the coat below during 18-degree Texas weather, so clearly I’m not one for practicality. I thought it would be appropriate with the warm collar…the actual coat itself was just beaded mesh, though. To tackle the Northeast’s arctic climate, I consulted with a couple of Snobs on the team – true New Yorker Sharon Feiereisen and Floridian-born Adam Dadson. While they come from different places, both have lived in NYC for years; when it comes to snow day attire, they’re seasoned experts.
