Spring’s Best Bags Under $500

Money can buy you a lot of things, but taste and style aren’t for sale. I am often asked about my favorite price conscious bags by readers with snobby taste who are on a slim budget, and I’m here to deliver. There are so many great collection-worthy bags out this season – and more than a few come in under $500!

From familiar names like Tory Burch to indie darlings like Staud, beginning (or adding to) your collection with bags that have big style and smaller price tags is a wonderful way to refresh your spring lineup.

Tory Burch Lee Radziwill Petite Bag, $498

This is by far my favorite bag under $500 of the season. Its classic lines and fun lock-and-key hardware make it a go-to spring essential.

Marc Jacobs Jelly Snapshot Camera Bag, $395

This season’s snapshot collection includes this happy, glittery little number perfect for a girls’ night out – what more can you ask of your evening companion?!

Botkier Valentina Flap Satchel, $248

Without a doubt the color of the season is orchid! I want to wear this color from head to toe, and this simple Botkier bag is the perfect place to start.

Staud Keaton Bag Saddle, $345

Clean lines don’t have to mean boring! I’m obsessed with this Staud bag (no really, I’m clicking ‘buy now’ as I type.)

Cult Gaia Pearl Bag, $368
For the artsy snob who craves unique design with a high dose of flair, this sculptural bag is a must have.

Leatherology Meadow Double Zip Camera Bag, $190

This celeb favorite can be customized with hand painted stripes and a monogram for a distinctly preppy vibe.

Mansur Gavriel Lamb Drawstring Pouch, $495

For the classically minded snob on a budget, Mansur Gavriel is a tried and true brand though most bags are in the $800+ range now. This roomy pouch is a great entry-level option.

Nannacay – Cotio Roge Crossbody Bag, $218.50
This bag has got ultimate boho flair. Meet your new favorite summer bag!

Marc Jacobs The Editor 29 Pebbled Leather Tote Bag, $425

I get it, some of us have to spend our summer days in the office. This Marc Jacobs bag is a universal editor’s favorite thanks to its sophisticated structure that serves you just as well in the Hamptons as it does in the board room.

Kara Plaster Baby Pinch Shoulder Bag, $395

This little bag has a whole lot of personality. Sign me up!

A.P.C. Demi-Lune shoulder bag, $440

I love this antique-rose-hued bag and its decidedly 90s styling.
