Never not looking down and the lines on my neck to show for it. I’ve taken to wearing large chokers and scarves to hide my tech neck. Not so convenient at the beach.
Tech Neck Hacks
Don’t: look down when texting, Instagramming, reading etc. Do’s: hold phones, books etc to eye level, the way your grandmother did! If you train yourself to always hold your chin up, it becomes second nature
I don’t like my neck, in fact, I hate it. But Strivectin is repairing my relationship with it.
Years ago, I started noticing deep lines in my neck, being in my 30s at the time I was surprised to see the “rings” so early on. My aunt said “turkey neck” and neck lines run in my family but not until their 60s. WHAT?! With all my careful anti-aging beauty regimes, regular facials and facial roller routines (have you seen my jade roller snaps?) how am I aging exponentially faster than my aunts?!
When I learned about “Tech Neck” and realized it’s an actual thing afflicting young people in our generation, I breathed a sigh of relief and started researching different ways of combating this condition.
Barring a necklift, all you can really do is get a good neck cream, use sunscreen daily and be mindful of how you’re using your phone!
Tech Neck was not an issue in the good old days on telephones!
I started using neck creams when I learned the formulations are specific to the delicate area. But whenever I would run out of one or another, I would forget about it and go back to using my face cream again as it just seemed like a lot of hassle to have an extra cream in addition to my 13 step routine. This summer, after seeing a few (VERY) scary photos of myself, specifically my neck, on the internet– I got serious about neck creams again. I also realized wearing turtlenecks and scarves a la Diane Keaton was not a practical solution.
After trying different brands that either left stains on my collars or felt very greasy when applied, I was offered to try and review a new and lighter formulation –StriVectin TL Advanced Light Tightening Neck Cream. Offering the same benefits as the #1 selling neck cream, StriVectin’s TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream, but lighter and absorbed begged. Also, it didn’t leave stains on my shirt or jacket collars.
After a month of dedicated use (my StriVectin TL Advanced Light Tightening Neck Cream accompanied me all over the world- from NYC to LA to Paris during fashion month), I’m definitely noticing a difference in my neck. The lines are still here but my neck feels firmer, smoother and more importantly, less saggy in photos!
Like everything beauty related, consistency is key, I’ll be using this regularly and religiously! And though I doubt I’ll ever like my neck, I am now able to live with it thanks to Strivectin.
Practicing looking up at Instagram.
Old habits die hard. Got caught looking down at texts before flying out to Paris for fashion week. See those unsightly lines? UGH
Always looking down. I’ve taken to wearing large chokers and scarves to hide my tech neck. Not so convenient at the beach.

Spent a month traveling for Fashion Month and always kept Strivectin TL Advanced Light Tightening Neck Cream with me. After NYFW, quick weekend in LA with family.
