Weekend Couture: Dior Shoes

These Dior gladiators ($780) graced every scene in SATC, SJP wore them with everything from floral frocks to trendy skinny jeans. This winter, I plan on wearing them with opaque black tights and mini minis. Cheap imitation knock offs abound but there is nothing better than the real thing! And check out the purple suede in your face fabulous Dior platform wedges with gold heel ($925) below. OH.MY.GOD. Architecture meets fashion meets art. What Dior is lacking in bags, its making up for in RTW and shoes!

Here in the UK they did a gold python verion of SJP shoes, I bought them from Harvey Nicks only the ankle bit didn’t sit right so I took them back…let me know how you go with them?!

I saw on the runway show they did some gorgeous Oistrich purple pumps but have yet to see them in store?! Have you seen them?

aren’t they just Tina.. what a great colour, so much nicer than the grey version. Good shoesmith is well worth looking for, I am lucky enough to have one as well, it’s as important as a proper seamstress if not more as you can cope with an ill-fitted dress but not with shoes that keep falling of your feet!
