White Hot Hermes

The dashing Cameron Silver called me today about a gorgeous white birkin he has for sale at Decades, his vintage boutique on Melrose. He knew I would want to know and I know you would want to know about this very rare 30cm Taurillon Clemence birkin from Hermes! As some of you know, Hermes stopped production on white bags for a few years and just recently resumed (don’t ask me why they do that- to drive us crazy?) so even if you have your name on a list for one, it will be 3-5 years before you get it. Seeing how summer is just around the corner, wouldn’t you like to have one, like today? Email Decades or call for further details. 323-655-0223

I love Birkins but Victoria Beckham really puts me off wearing one-remember those hideous little purple birkin bag she wore as an evening bag??

Too much of anything is just too much!

    This one is gorgeous..

Decades is an amazing place. I had the chance to reserve a 40cm black Birkin a few weeks ago, but alas, still poor, I couldn’t afford it. 🙁

I love white, nice clean pure, but come on if you buy that bag and go to the city when you get home either its going to be yellow or dirty brown,

I believe that the little purple birkin you refer to is actually the mini Kelly pochette that she wore in suede when photographed with Marc Jacobs. That bag is supposed to be an evening bag. I have one in purple lizard and it’s absolutely perfect for the evenings, my phone, purse, lipstick and compact fit in snuggly!

I have met Cameron and he is quite the charmer. It’s hard to resist the gorgeous couture and bags he has at Decades. My fave for vintage.

    Gimme gimme gimme!

Now THAT’s a bag worth splurging on! Both classic and classy, made to last a lifetime (or two!).
